Is an AI ID photo a fake image the AI draws?
No. Here the AI only detects and processes your real photo — cropping, background separation, compliance checks — it does not synthesize a new face. Shadow clearing and lighting are automatic image processing. Passports, IDs, and visas require a real, recent likeness; an AI-fabricated face would be rejected.
Does it beautify the face, and will that cause rejection?
The system evens the lighting and clears shadows so the face reads clearly — that's image processing, not generative AI, and it fixes capture conditions, not your identity. Authorities require a true likeness; heavy edits (face slimming, strong skin smoothing) can be flagged and rejected by automated passport/visa systems, so results are kept natural.
