  1. Take a portrait with your smartphone

    Ask someone else to take a portrait of you with the rear camera of a phone or a camera.

    • Rear camera, eye level, Portrait mode, about 0.6m ~ 1m from the subject
    • Even light across the face — stand facing the light source or a window. Do not stand directly under a ceiling light
    • Neutral expression, looking straight ahead, shoulders square, no glasses, no hat, both ears visible, hair tied back neatly
    • Do NOT take a selfie with the front camera — it enlarges the nose, distorts facial proportions and can mirror your face left-to-right
    • Do NOT use face-slimming, eye-enlarging, or shape-altering effects — photos that lose your identity or look blurry and unclear will be rejected by the issuing authority

  2. Pick document size & upload to anhthe.io
