  1. Take a portrait with your smartphone

    Use your smartphone to snap a portrait of yourself. The single most important thing: no shadow on your face. Filters and AI skin-smoothing are fine — but never change your identity (no face-slimming, eye-enlarging, or feature reshaping).

    • Rear camera, eye level, Portrait mode, about 0.5m from the subject
    • Natural daylight — avoid side or overhead lighting that casts shadows on your face
    • Neutral expression, looking straight ahead, no glasses or hats
    • Filters / AI beauty smoothing: allowed — but keep your facial features intact so ICAO still passes
    • Do NOT use face-slimming, eye-enlarging, or shape-altering effects — the system will reject identity-altered photos

  2. Pick document size & upload to anhthe.io

    Open anhthe.io, choose the document you need (passport, national ID, driver license, visa…) and upload the photo you just took. The AI processes it in seconds — you don't edit anything.
